Gluten Free Crisp Bread Crackers

Gluten Free Crisp Bread Crackers are an easy cost effective way to use up stale bread; whilst creating an elegant Gluten Free starter for your next celebration. Our Gluten Free Continental Dark Bread, is perfect for this recipe idea and you can be as creative as you like with flavors and toppings!

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Use day old Gluten Free Rye-less Rye Loaf, made as directed on the back of the pack.
  2. Slice your bread thinly and neatly 3mm–5mm. And cut square slice in half or to your preferred size.
  3. Combine a couple of crushed garlic cloves with 20ml of olive oil; brush or drizzle on both sides of the sliced Bread; season to taste with your favourite herbs or spices.
  4. Place on a lined baking tray and toast on a low oven for about 10 minuts or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely prior to serving; you can store this for up to seven days in an airtight container.

Serve up some Gluten Free canapés for Christmas lunch. You can make these up with Crème Fresh, Smoked Salmon and capers or a festive combination of cucumber, turkey and aioli topped with cranberry jelly. Or just serve with dips or a classic cheese platter.
